Is Nada or KBB a good guide for accurate pricing or since they are limited production is there a premium to pay? Looking at a mid mileage (75K) 2003 300b and a dealer is wanting 12.5K (negotiated bottom dollar), one owner trade-in, clean in/out. Hard to tell what others are actually selling for, only what others are asking through various forsale ads, and we all know those are two different numbers :)

Bottom line is, it is worth what some one is willing to pay for it. Generally speaking I have heard that NADA is a better pricing guide than Kelly Blue Book.

NADA is what dealers use or "The Black Book" and KBB is for general public.

Finding a nice, low mileage Marauder is getting harder and harder, like SID says, they're worth whatever a person's willing to pay for 'em.

That's a little high, in October I paid $10k for '03 300b with 64k miles.

The Marauder is a specialty car that prices will vary widely depending on condition, modifications and alot of other things. KBB or Edmunds I wouldnt trust on a specialty car.
prices vary greatly depending on what part of the country your in, private vs dealer sale, condition, etc. i just started a thread in hopes of help deciding which one of two potential cars to go after...
Bottom line is, it is worth what some one is willing to pay for it.

Yup fo' sure...
No one here on MM.net would bite on the one I have, because it has a rebuilt title... If it had been badly wrecked I may have thought twice but damage was from a tree falling on it, busting the windshield also damaging the hood(replaced) and roof(repaired and repainted)...
At $9850, with Supercharger install of less than 5K mi & 42K mi total, I'm happier than a hog in slop...

I bought mine for over $21k five years ago with 40k miles on it. I was so pissed when some supercharged ones started popping up on here for $15-19k a few months after I bought mine.

TRUTH. Its not worth what a book says. Its what a willing and able buyer will pay for it.
I run into this in Real Estate when people just know their house will sell for appraised value.
Problem with MM's unless they have something special to set them apart such as forced induction or a wanted color (blue) they're getting slammed right now. My friend just picked up an 03 with good paint for 7k and 100k miles.

I stole my 03 300a with 79K miles at $7000. It was a repo.

I got lucky with a Repo too. I picked up an 03 Cobra Vert last year for 7500. I chopped that thing up like it was lost in mexico.

I had a guy offer me $7k on it the other day.....I told everything is for sale for the RIGHT money......he didnt even get close. I thing alot of the value lies with your sentiment with it. I havnt had mine for long, but I wont sell it for less than the amount it would take for me to get another, nicer, one.
