I am thinking of changing the front sway bar bushings on my 2003 LX. The bar is 28MM. Energy Suspension doesn't list a sway bar bushing for this size but has a 28.5MM Greaseable Bushing kit # 9.5170 for the pre 2003 Models. Would the .5 MM difference be noticeable if I used these bushings on my car? 0.5MM = 0.02"

bushings have to be the same size as the bar, otherwise its just sliding around, better yet buy some ones stock marauder bars

If they are greasable isn't the bar moving inside the bushing? The stock bushings turn on the bar also so a greasable bar would move even more freely would it not? I wonder if that 0.5MM would be significant enough to cause a problem?

the greasable bushings are suppose to address any sqeaking issues ,if you go with a larger diameter bushing than bar, you will not be a happy camper bud!

OK! Thanks bud, Maybe I'll pass on the poly bushings for now and just change the end links with the greasable Moog versions for now.

Do they not list a stock '03LX?
I have ENS bushings everywhere and they work great.

Hmm, Well the Energy Supsension catalogue specifies the 28.5" bushings size is only good up to 2002. The stock bar on my Vic is 28mm so it is smaller. There is a 28MM bushing set but not greasable.

if thats the case just order the non-greasable set, ive used energy suspension products since the early nineties and ive never used the greasable sway bar bushings, and they have worked fine, besides the white marine grade grease that comes with the bushings is far superior to anything you could pump into them and will last forever!

Agree w/ motown marauder ^^^
I used marine grease when I installed the Addco rear bar on The Blackbird about 6 years ago and it hasn't made a peep since.
