I bought this car brand new in October of 2003. It was the first and only brand new car I ever bought. I live in Florida which means this car has never seen snow or salt. I daily drove it for the first 2 1/2 years I had it until my job gave me a company car. When I lost my company car, I bought a daily drive to keep this one in the garage. I have put about 10k miles on this car in the last 3 1/2 years. It now sits at 45K miles. I sold my ATV the week I bought this car to make space in the garage. It is and always has been garage kept.

This car has been tastefully modified. I am quite a purist when it comes to the appearance of the car. The only visual mod you will find is the shaved trunk emblem, Bob White chrome inserts and a custom made front grille emblem. It also has Marauder Concepts Underbody Lighting and Marauder Concepts door handle and cup holder lighting as well as dual hood lamps.

The rest of the mods are functional and performance:
Trilogy supercharger with 3.2" pulley.
4 position chip with 3 tunes installed and a select switch.
3 tunes on the chip are 93 octane, 91 octane, 100 octane.
K&N cold air kit.
Ford GT fuel pump.
4.10:1 FMS rear end gears.
Eaton TruTrac differentail.
Moser 31 spline axles.
Metco driveshaft loop.
Baer 14" front brake kit with ceramic quiet pads.
Baer Delella rear brake rotors.
TCE stainless steel brake lines.
Hurst LineLoc.
Full size 300a spare tire.

All mods were professionally installed by me :)

In my quest to keep this car family friendly, it still has the stock exhaust from manifolds to tail pipes.

This car has run a best of 12.2 on 100 octane and 12.5 on 93 octane fuel in the 1/4 mile.

This car has been meticulously over-maintained. Every fluid has been changed way ahead of schedule, oil has been changed every 3k miles or 6 months with Motorcraft 5-20 semi-synthetic blend oil. Motorcraft filters are all I've ever used.

I have set the price at a realistic $18K. No games. Compare with others for sale, you will find this is the correct price for this car.

The price is right, I drove Tallboys' back from Florida non-stop with my son with no issues.

This car is very similar to mine.

Probably sacrilege, but why oh why couldn't it have been black? Looking for one exactly like this but in black to match my buick GN. Beautiful car!

Thanks guys. I hate to see it go but I just don't enjoy it as much as I used to. It's time to move onto something else. I had it sold a year ago, had the title in the glove box and at the end, my family talked me out of it. This time, its gonna go. I just want a good home for it and first dibs if it ever goes back up for sale.

This is the best deal on the Marauder market. Super clean, super performance and super workmanship. I like Black better personally but Red is Rarer.

I've tried talking my dad into this car to no avail. It won't comfortably fit in his garage (would take 10 minutes to get it parked right) and he's committed to his Mustang.

If someone's reading and in the market...I don't think there's a better Marauder value...ANYWHERE.

This is a very sad day for me. I have sold my Marauder.

In my mind, I know it is "just" a car but this car has changed my life in so many ways. I've met my best friends because of this car. I've traveled to places I would have never traveled to and met some great people I would not have met. It is the most powerful car I've ever owned. It is the only car I've ever owned that people stopped and asked me about. It is the first brand new car I've ever owned. My children don't remember me without the Marauder. We've taken family trips in it and took it to the drags. It's been in a couple of car shows and got all the attention. A spirited drive comforted me when I was in a bad mood. It impressed my friends and family. I let dozens of people test drive it to share my joy about how awesome it is. I really love this car.

However, it got to a point where I couldn't enjoy it anymore. I would take it out and couldn't enjoy any activity knowing it was in the parking lot unattended. I couldn't let my kids park their bikes in the garage in fear of a scratch. I couldn't park it at work in fear someone would park next to it and ding it. I feared some jealous "Honda" guy would scratch it. I couldn't take it to my kid's baseball practice knowing they would have dirt on their clothes after the practice or a foul ball would hit it. I didn't want to race it anymore in fear I would damage it.

It was time to give it a new home.

The good news is the new owner is also an enthusiast. He will park it in the garage and drive it on sunny days. He will park it away from the bicycles... and take as good care of it as I did. He is a member here and will introduce himself when he feels it is time. He also plans to be active in the community and attend Marauder events. Best of all, when it is time for him to move on, he will offer me first dibs. Maybe then, the kids will be too old for bicyles in the garage...

So now, I am left with great friends and great memories... much more important to me than just a car...

Claude I understand how you feel. Enjoying the car is a key factor in keeping it. In the begining it was about the car, then about the community of people we met, then / now it's more about the great people/ friends we have met/ made over the years, more than the car . I'm not sure what else to say but "Friendship's here are made to last a life time" . See ya at our next Picnic my friend !
