Left class tonight around 7, blasting 'Ace of Spades', temp was about 26. Cold pavement plus cold tires plus cars that runs better on cold air equals much tire spinnage. We have no snow and no rain, just below freezing temps and I was fish tailing and squalling tires away from a light so be careful fellow Marauderers. Don't need snow or ice for the car to get squirrely, just cold hard tires on cold hard pavement. I am tired of seeing wrecked Marauders so I figure any bit of info that might help us, I'd pass it on.

No doubt there Brian-your MM is one big PATHER PAW :burnout: gripping the pavement with every breath---at least thats what it has always looked like to me !!! For those folks that haven't seen your MM, I thnk they will agree when they get the chance to see yours my friend.

My dry pavement standard... Easy throttle off the line, let it hit 2nd, gas it about 1/2 throttle, lay down 2 big strips of rubber unless it gets squirrely and you gotta let off. Never, ever gas it unless you're pointed in a straight line...

Wet pavement, tighten up the sphincter and never goose it.

This is exactly why I like this time of year! Getting my fun in with the summer tires. Just bought new snow tires, so no burnouts with those...

Woo Hoo, that's sweet...

On traction... I was out Wed night when it was in the upper 20s with a couple passengers, they commented how well mine hooked and really it's hooking far better than I'd expect... Open it to about half throttle and then floor it, holds traction surprisingly well... Of course in wet conditions I'd no doubt have to feather the throttle, but I have a couple wet weather mobiles, so the Rauder is staying inside when it's damp...
