It is from a 2003, they are the exactly same for 03 and 04.

No they aren't. 2004 has the clock in the radio. 2003 has the clock in the dash trim. Similar, but not EXACTLY the same.

My CD changer does not work, When a CD is installed in dash or in changer, the stereo reads bad cd, any ideas as to why? thanks

Yes they are, the clock feature is in both, it's just not active in the '03 due to the connections in the wiring harness...

Yep, that's the deal... All depends whether pin #4 is open or grounded...

Bruce, if you try other CDs, store bought production CDs, and nothing works, the unit is probably bad.

I also have a 6 disc changer for sale, also $75 shipped insured fedex.
