While looking around on eBay i discovered this (rare?) 2008 "Palm Beach" Grand Marquis that is sporting dot matrix/faux carbon fiber interior trim like our Marauders. I didn't know the Palm Beach was a factory trim package, nor did I know a GM ever got the dot matrix trim. Thought some might find this interesting.

I looked at one of those once and would have bought one if I could have found one in 09 when I got my GM. I think they only made em in 08. The Palm Beach was basically the same as an LS but with the nice soft leather seats like our Marauders (instead of the usual crap leather like in my GM). The dash isnt the same dot matrix as the MM, its got like a cross stitch design to it if you look close at the pic you can see.

That looks good. The seats have a custom look.

Look at that big empty space where the console and shifter should be. :puke:

They made them in '07 as well. A friend of mine's grand parents are currently in the process of trading it in. Nice car, I'd own it.

dont like the newer style steering wheel and speedometer on left side of cluster and tach. On right side but like the cars all the same ...

Verrrrry Interesting!
Nice to see the cost breakdown, as the 2003 Marauders were fully optioned except the spoiler and 6 CD changer.
The air bag suspension - $300
heated mirrors and seats -
Palm Beach package -
Makes me appreciate my Marauder even more
As my salesman did not have a clue why the Marauder was twice as much as a Grand Marquis GS.

That's cool , never new about this Palm Beach edition, I had an '89 T-bird with the same dot matrix on dash and steering wheel, I kept this stuff when I got rid of the car. Any other Ford's or Merc's with this?

like the chrome door handles ,would add some bling to the marauder ,oh and a chrome shifter bezel witch should of been standard like on other panthers with factory floor shift.
