Since I am running 15# of boost and the temps are seeing single digits, I had an incident where I was on the throttle hard and all of a sudden the car got very loud.
OOOPS! I blew the gasket(s) that is right after the second set of cats.
I called around to local flaps and they all told me "No LIsting" for your car.
I ended up making the gaskets myself out of a sheet of Felpro exhaust gasket material .
I traced a template on the outside out of cardboard after I spit the two doughnuts apart.
I held up the template to the doughnut to mark the mount holes.
The I bolted the template to the doughnut and routered the opening with a dremmel type bit.
After I transfered the holes from the template to the new gasket I bolted it the the doughnut flange and cut it with the router so I would have a nice fit with no restrictions.
I did both sides because it appeared the other side was beggining to leak as well.
The bolts I used to re attach the doughnut flanges were "parts bin" recycled and much bigger than the ones that came out.
The sheet of material was $12.00 and there is enough to make several sets .
If anyone needs a piece, PM me .
Special thanks to "One Special Car" for the assistance & service, use of the Facility, Lift & tools , parts truck, lunch, ect!!! :bows: You guys rock!
