my wifes 09 Tahoe is in the shop for warranty work. That being said she now has to drive my Marauder to work everyday (61 miles roundtrip) for the next 2 weeks. I have a police car to drive everyday so there was no other option. Im worried about my car. I told her if she wrecks it we are getting divorced. is that bad?

My wife's car is in the shop as well. She mentioned the Marauder, I gave her the keys to the truck.

Is that bad?

I beg my wife to take the Marauder out for a spin. Tell her that I want to see her have some fun! Get the big ole grin you can only get hearing the scream of the S/C and loud pipes.

Yup - I do!

Since I "want" her to drive it, she wont even pick up the keys! LOL.

To answer the question, wrecking your Marauder is grounds for divorce.

Remember a divorce usually cost a guy 50%. I usually give the females in the family truck keys also when they need a ride.

No. Amy slammed my Corvette into and over a curb when someone "cut her off" doing 45 mph. (Riiiiight). Dented a rim, steering wheel is off center, and it leaks power steering fluid. She has never asked to drive the Marauder and I don't think she ever will.

My buddy bought a scion XB for his wife and whenever that thing is down, she hops in his 2001 Viper GTS ACR and takes that to work....

Gotta have trust... (and teach them right)

My wife is the same way. I tell her to drive it and lets her know she can drive it when she gets ready. She said **** no!!!

I let my girlfriend take the Marauder keys in a parking lot so that I could hear my new exhaust system from the outside. The smile on her face, and the "I'll jsut go around again" (for the 10th time), told me it was going to be hard to get the keys back!

Hey...if she's been explained the rules; and she chooses to "roll the dice"; she has to take what comes.
"Is it bad?" - YOUR Marauder is your fun toy and hard to forget and replace. You could always fall in love with a different woman if you had to.

Full coverage on mine, so she can play bumper cars with it for all I care as long as it wasn't her fault. And yes, that is wrong of you... It is a car...

being a limited production car and having the love for the car that I have she is affraid to drive it. They gave us a loner but enterprise doesnt have anything available until tom. She wont even park it in the garage because she is affraid she might do something wrong. She respects my passion for the car so I guess I coudlnt ask for more. This is the only car I have ever kept longer than 12 months

My wife does not want to drive my Marauder. I am too particular I guess. I'm not. I just like to keep it nice. Keep it clean. My 18 year old son doesn't even ask to borrow it. That's fine by me.

I let my brother drive my Marauder all the time. He shares my enthusiasm about the car. However, my last girlfriend did talk me into letting her drive it a few times. She really didn't understand my attempts at taking care of it and keeping it looking nice and babying it and wanting to mod it. She had a dog which after a lot of discussion we did transport in the back seat. I cringed when we made a sudden stop once and the dog obviously used its claws trying to hang on before sliding forward hitting the back of my seat. I didn't see any damage in the leather though. There are some other scratches that were my fault on the passenger seat where I laid my DVD player once so I knew how the leather needs to be careful on. Barely noticeable though fortunately.

I wouldnt really divorce her over it. I have had 22 cars and im sure this wont be my last. She refuses to drive anything once I start tinkering around with it. She will only drive my cars at first. I told her to give it hell thats what insurance is for. But she still rather drive something else.
