If there was a model that wasn't so covered, maybe just the outside thicker edges, with the center more visible, it wouldn't look so plasticky phony.

This has been discussed in another thread. Painted calipers are the best way to go. I recommend the G2 caliber paint kit, a few of us here have used it and are very pleased with the results. You can get it on ebay.

Was looking to get them for the wife's 2007 Charger R/T. Instead of spending $200.00 I'll just get the G2 system and do them myself.

Im just not a big fan of covers generally. These things are sort of like the engine covers they put on new cars, Id rather look at the real engine, pipes and wires and all than a smooth cover. On brakes, I love the look of painted calipers but Ill have to pass on covers. Also, imagine what would happen if those two mounting nuts got loose. Yikes.
