there are far better options availible now as most have gone with nitto, toyo, and others that out perform bfgs any day.

Yes, though unfortunately you have to upgrade to the way too meaty tall sidewall rears which look ugly compared to stockers.

I'm going with stock BFG's for the rear because my fronts are stock.

Does anyone run mixed BFG's front and something other on the rear.

I ran Hankooks in the rear and stock BFGs or Continentals in the front.

I'm not worried about mismatched tires as long as there are 2 per axle, not per
side.

Nitto 295's out back and Kumho 255's up front.....best combination I have found!! Both wear well and the Kumhos are way quieter than the BFG "junk"!!

OEM fronts and General Grabber UHP 255/55's in the back. Will prolly switch to Nittos on all four corners when these wear out, but that may be a while.

I ran mis- matched tires for a time when the rear BFG's were no where to be found.
The car did not handle at speed , in the rain it was not good.
I went back to OEM , and those poor characteristics were all gone.
15-20K is what I seem to get out of them, this is my fifth set in 7 years.

I had stocks all the way around and the rears were worn badly. I put Nitto 555 Extreme 265/50ZR18 on the rear mainly because getting stocks is becoming more difficult. And, I am concerned that even "new" ones are going to be pretty old (check the manufacture dates on those tires - I read articles about NOS tires - No good). Anyways, these "wobble" more than the stocks which I don't care for, but I am not going spend the time finding stock tires.

I plan on replacing the fronts this year with Nitto 555's. Then I'll see how it rides with 4 matching Nitto's.

there shouldnt be any "wobble" with the nittos its a far better tire than anything bfg ever made!

sounds like a problem with balancing, or a rim that may be out of round from a pothole.
