If I change the perimeters with the hand held devise example timming or idle. Then returned to stock tune & then returned to custom tune would the changed perimeters still be in place ?

You would have to readjust the parameter's manually.

No they wouldn't. The only time the adjustments save is when you swap to another tune. Returning to stock resets all the user adjusted parameters.

The parameters of the custom tune remain where you changed them when you go back and forth from the stock tune.
