compass shutdown ??

Hi every one ..

for the past month I try to fix the compass but I don't now how to open or take out the dash broad to see what the problem ...

I'm wondering did this problem happen to any one ??

and if that happen how u fix it

There has been reports of bad solder connections in the compass. I bet that what it is.

Remove the screw near the compass, then two more inside the glasses storage, then pull down with extreme force from the front of the console. The whole console will come down. Then resolder all the connections. Reassemble and VOILA, compass is working again!
