Some dealerships farm out their painting or combine their body/paint operations with other dealerships. The quality of work is directly proportional to the cost.

You want a good paint job, same color, no door jams, under hood or under trunk lid you will pay about $2500.00 (give or take). The prepping is the secret and that's labor and time intensive.
