my sway bar end links have given up. my question is, are the replacement oem end links the ones i want to put back on or are there shorter ones to compensate the lowering springs?

I think your stuck with the OEM end links unless you get someone to fad some shorter ones up..... I'm sure you'd be looking at lotsa $$$$$$$$.

I have had no issues with my stock ones for over 40,000 miles of being lowered. Yours must have been weak already. You shouldn't have any problems with OEM.
