Please indulge me for a moment, but I know only you guys would appreciate this. My whole month of December was unfortunately consumed with my elderly mother falling ill, then digressing into a coma for 10 days ...and it was hell on Earth as you can imagine. My '03 Marauder has been "retired" from daily duty for several year to preserve it. However, my current car, a '10 Dodge Challenger R/T, was neither as comfortable for transporting my father daily to the hospital (nor would it be worth a crap in the OH snow).

So the Marauder was "startled" from it's hibernation, and with snow tires afixed brough back on daily duty. I put 1,500 miles on it in 30 days running siblings, relative and most importantly my father through this tough time. The battery is going on 8 years old and it's all original equipment everywhere. Not a single issue except the leaking rear shock I mentioned in another thread.

My mother is now awake, stable and going through physical therapy to get stronger...we're blessed.

But I'll also remember my MM was there when I needed it...AGAIN.

Great cars we have. Thanks for your indulgence...just felt I needed to get it into "the record".:)

Glad to hear the multiple items you had good news on. Bless your mom and family and hopefully the progression will continue for her. The Marauders are great cars. People who drive them know how good they are. Even in very harsh weather they handle it with no issues!

Best of luck moving forward and thanks for the great story.

You really had your hands full there. It is a great feeling to know these Marauders can perform reliably so that you could be there for your mom and family. We're so glad she is recovering!

Awesome news that your mom is doing well. A daily MM is a great MM!! My wife want s me to buy another car so I don't have to drive the MM everyday. Now way Jose!! It's too hard to not drive it.

Amen to that man.
My Father is 66 and he fell on the ice on our driveway and landed on a spiked tree root and cut open multiple holes in the back of his head, the biggest being the size of a silver dollar. I luckily saw him fall and ran out with my Mother and he was out cold losing more blood then ive ever seen anyone lose before.

We got him in the MM and I literally "beamed" us to the hospital :burnout:

With hazards and high beams flashing, EVERY SINGLE PERSON moved out of my way. Saved his life more or less

Glad to hear everyone's ok

Thanks for all the kind comments and wishes for my mother. This forum has always shown what quality people reside on it.

ConvertedChevy, man, that sounded pretty scarey what you went through too. Hope your father is doing Ok.
