Here is a drag racing event in July for 1966 and older cars. Loose rules and fast cars. Dust em off and bring them out to race or show. The T Bolt Tribute will be going to do some Super Stock racing. Check out the website once in a while and come out ane relive the days of old!:D The cars do need to be period correct whick means no late model cowl induction hoods, billet wheels digital guages so if you have questions please contact the event people. They are trying to roll the clock back a lot of years on this event!

Cars are starting to turn up for this show! I just got a confirmation on a 62 Vette that ran D/Mp for years. Still has the original custom paint on it. Its a great car! Another friend is talking about bringing his 54 Studebaker that is Buick powered. A 64 Ford Galaxie FE powered car is also talking about going.:D

Great! I thought you may know of someone. Spread the word and get him to put it on facebook. Its Meltdown Drags Vintage on the search. They also have a Meltdown Drags page on Facebook. Needs Fords for the Car Show and racing! :)

We are planning on coming. I am not on facebook and don't care to learn how to get on there.

Can you answer a couple questions, I read the rules but...
Do we still need a lap belt for racing?
How strict is the tech?
I want to run my dads 61 Ford wagon in stock class, it has newer radial tires?
Run 61 Starliner w/ 427 in ??? 64 Comet in F/X.

Run 61 Starliner w/ 427 in ??? 64 Comet in F/X. Go to the website and E Mail Eric with the questions. My guess you are correct on the classes. They do want the cars to look period correct so I would send him a couple of pictures You can also send me your E mail addy and I will send it to him on Monday. :) The racing is not serious and the event is to have fun making runs. The goal is to find the closest competition and match race him.

T Bolt just woke up for the New Year! It was time to cycle some fuel thru the carbs to avoid the varnish. She sounded good and makes me think of spring!

Ryan it was great to talk to you on the phone! You guys have a nice stable of Fords. I am looking forward to seeing them in July!

I wish mine did!:coolman: This guy is here in Michigan.

If you have anything 66 and older you need to consider the Meltdown Drags this summer!
