Guys,
I was hoping you all could give me a little help, I just bought a cherry 1963 Marauder. It has the 390 BBL, 4 Speed, with 56,000 miles on it. I am in need of a place to purchase some parts for it such as weather stripping, seat covers, front end rebuild kit, ect
Thank you all in advance for the help, I will post up a few pics for those that would like to see it.

Tanks
Luke

martyo - the the owner I bought the car from installed the plastic cover on the floor the day he brought it home from the dealership, it has been covered since then. The carpet looks new under the plastic
johnnyrauder - I felt like we paid a fair price for it, lets just say it was under 10G

I will try to look up kirk, thanks for the quick replys. I basically need some of the weather stripping, window seals on the vents, shocks and supsension rebuild and then clean up under the hood a little. The old girls runs great starts from the seat the first time everytime so far, no smoke at all, brakes are good for what it is, shifts out nicely. Just all in all a very fun car to drive. I am going to have the chrome redone, will polish the stainless trim and repaint it in the original hue. (just got a new booth I am wanting to try out)
Again thanks for all the replys I will get a few pics of it out in the open as soon as it warms up just a tad.

Having a '64 Marauder there are a lot of parts from 63, 63 1/2, 64 Galaxies that will interchange to Mercurys such as weather strip, mechanicals, etc. Greg Donahue of Floral City, Fl 352-344-4329 specializes in restoring these years of Galaxies. If you need sheet metal, stainless, etc you will have to find a '63 Merc as it's different. If you don't know as much about the car as he does, he will let you know it. He has a catalog as well.

Congrats on your purchase. 4-speed cars are rare and desireable.

The glass is all the same as any '63-4 fastback 2dr Ford or Merc, so the weatherstrip will also be the same. Many places carry the weaterstrip including Donahue, Carpenter, Kanter, and others.

Seat covers might be a challenge. I see them advertised in Hemmings from time to time, but it's iffy for any particular color. You can still get the base material. It's the detail peices that you can't get. I had someone disassemble one of my covers and build a new one using new material.

I don't recall as I write this what else you need, but send me another PM if I can help with anything.
