Can this be driven with 93 octane "Pump Gas" (says 10.5 but Ford only goes to 10.1)?

Nope. Actually my quarter mile time dropped. Part of that could be my error, new tires etc. I think the power is about the same as the old motor. The car really needs a supercharger.

I think it may had to do with it being a new engine. A loose higher mileage engine will always be quicker. I went through the same thing our last time out. I think I would have hit 13.5 on my first run if I hooked up.

Aluminator compression is 10:1 various differnt spec sheets have different ratios on the factory motor but I think the majority state 10:1. http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts/part_details.asp?PartKeyField= 9871
