I need to replace my 3 year old Diehard Gold Battery as it goes dead
after sitting only 2 days. Could there be something drawing down the
battery, other than the theft system.?
Is this the normal life for a battery in a Marauder?
What is a good replacement and CCA other than a Sears.

Most batteries are manufactured by 2 different companies.
Batteries do die depending on Heat and cold cycles. My Continental seems to go thru a battery every 3 years.I would take the pro rated price on a new battery and be happy, or upgrade to a better warrantied battery.

My original Motorcraft battery lasted 7.5 years so I replaced it with the exact same type BXT-65-650. They also offer a 750 and 850 amp version with the same size/shape form factor.

AC Delco, one of the few batteries still made here in the good ole USA, just put one in with 675 CCA, & no problem at all even with 15 degree temps & with wind chill factors much lower. Motorcraft batteries are produced in China , like everything else these days.

Wal-Mart batterys are made by Johnsons Controls a USA Company. I put one in my '95 F-150 a month ago, Wal-Mart has a great re-placement policy and no haggle return:)
I did however use Motorcraft replacement in the marauder but with 850 CCA:)
Factory battery went over 8 years:up:

Quick way to check the battery...........
Fully charge it.
Disconnect the battery for 2 days.
Reconnect the battery.
If it starts the car it's not the battery.
To find out what's drawing down the battery, start pulling fuses.
