I am looking into buying long tube headers and a complete SS Cat back system. Does anyone have knowledge of the Stainlessworks system. They have everything I want to change out but I'sd like feedback as to the quality of thier system

Make sure you get the latest design LT's. I think SW redesigned the LT so as to not interfere with the dipstick. Supposedly makes for an easier install. Otherwise I hear their stuff is top notch. Also understand their mufflers are louder than Magnaflows and Flowmasters.

I have Kooks with there catted x pipe fit like a glove.

SW are quality, longer and larger in diameter than the kooks. I do not have any proof if they perform any better but I love them. They still look brand new. Dennis

WOW i didnt know that so many people are having issues with them?
maybe they changed something as mine went on without any issues.
I guess, too each there own.
The way I look at it it's a hell of an improvement over the stock manifolds.

fitment has no been the problem for me, the welds on the flange have been redone THREE TIMES.

Looking into buying some from SW myself and change the mufflers again. Don't know if I want the Aero's or something else. Looking for that deep growl, mine is too high and reminds me of a moded Honda or something lol.

What set up do you have now so that I can avoid it. I don't want the "high" sound either. :D
Looking for the deep growl as well.

don't waste your money on the entire "system". Buy the headers and find a good shop to do the rest for you.

X-Pipe and some magnaflows.

For a deeper tone, dump the X pipe idea and go with a straight across connector. Dennis

I just ordered the MAUCAT system - $1500.00 shipped. :D
Selling my old cats for $200 cash to recycle guy, PM me if anyone happens to want my old manifolds and catpipes for $200 + shipping.

I think that the OHC design is hard to get that deep growl out of due to its higher revving nature of the engine compared to ohv engines of the past. I found only one brand that satisfied me in the sound department for my 06 mustang... bassani. Granted, the design of the exhaust is different. I do not believe they make a system for the panther cars. If enough of us contact them expressing interest they may develop one. Then there is always the fact that you could just purchase the correct size mufflers to build your own. I haven't heard any on a marauder, but check for a mach 1 with them. Sounds sweet! Tastes delicious!

3.552 inch bore is more of the reason for lack of great sound.
Enjoy your new found power. :D
