By lowering a car it changes the geometry. If I lower the suspension by cutting the front springs say one inch would I also have to shorten the sway bar end links an inch ?

No need to shorten the sway bar end links.

It may or may not affect the ease of getting Carfixers alignment specs to work.

:shake: The springs have nothing to do with getting Carfixers alignment specs to work.

I have had multiple suspension set ups from OEM, Naake QA1s, different shock mfg, to one coil cut all with Carfixer specs. some good some better. My thought on sway bar end link length with a coil cut why wouldn't it make sence to shorten it as well ?

Well actually because lowering the car affects its center of gravity it does affect the steering geometry and it will affect the alignment. It may be negligible on some cars and it may be more pronounced on others. That's why I said it may or may not.:fishslap:

It will throw off the alignment and you may not have enough adjustment left to bring it back in with in specifications.

As mentioned in post #5 all changes that were ever made to the suspension I had used Carfixer specs to then correct alignment. My only further concerns are sway bar end link size ? I know one member said it is fine no need for shortening end links. I need to understand why ?

So, with my question in mind "Should I shorten the end links when lowering the car" The answer I got from John Wright at Addco was that is what we usually do when we lower a car. I would check the angle of the bar before making an adjustment.

I don't think 1" will make a difference.

That's NOT what she said!!!! Got that out of the way.

There have been many Marauders with cut coils and I don't think anyone has had to shorten anything else. I'd be very surprised if you had to.
