Wheel controls all work great. I used an ASWC wheel control adapter.

I've been messing around with photoshop trying to make a background I like. I can upload them to a flash drive and plug that into the usb plug the glove box and upload to the unit.

What happens when the motorized face goes bad? Any warranty on that? I've seen several on eBay where the face stopped working plus I see several ads where people claim they will fix the bad motor. Just sounds like a common problem

I was made aware of motor issues when I bought it. The store I got it from offered a warranty. 2 years should be fine i figure.
Only 35 bucks, probably because i bought a metric $&#*ton of stuff from them at Christmastime.

I'm really stuck between this or the Avh-p3200bt... what's all that's needed for installation and cost ? Thanks

Nice! I got the AVH-P6000 DVD, pretty much the same as yours, but holds 6 disc's, and support for the Vehicle Dynamics Processor, which I purchased as well.

As long as you can follow instructions you can do it yourself.

Just get some heat shrink tubing and a soldering gun, solder the color matching wires from your new unit to the harness adapter (purchased from POPS). Then bypass the park brake if desired with a relay. Then I just used a dremel/handsaw tool and some files to cut up behind the dash a bit to make room. Then I wired the bluetooth module up behind the A/C controls and ran the mic to the headliner. Next I ran the USB and AUX cables to the glove box and hooked up the wires for the wheel controls. Installed the mounting hardware as instructed and dropped the unit in there.

My only issue with the setup is my Next button on my wheel controls now is assigned to seek, which is fine for CD/USB and other sources but not for radio. So instead of tapping to go from preset to preset on the radio, now i have to reach unless i want to seek .1 :(
