The Blue guys are still ahead of the Red guys... :bounce:
Since so very few were re-painted, is there any way this poll will stray far from the manufactured proportions? I suppose the very-vocal odd color owners (Dark Pearl Birch :-) might be more inclined to vote...

Black was the intended color of the car because it fits the attitude. They came up with the other colors to appeal to the senior citizens and women. :D

Percentage-wise, the Blue and Silver MMs are represented at twice the levels of Black and DTR Marauders. This is why the Blues and Silvers are way cooler folks. :P
Dark Blue Pearl (DBP) 11/328 = 3.35%
Silver Birch (SB) 41/1404 = 2.92%
Dark Toreador Red (DTR) 17/980 = 1.73%
Black (JPB) 123/8339 = 1.47%
Overall 187/11052 = 1.69%

I have always thought this was a badass combo, those rims are a little too tall for me but the color combo is pretty dead on in my opinion for a DTR. This makes me laugh each time I see it, dude is nutz!

Silver was chosen because people who live in the desert regions didn't want black. I've heard green might have been the color for 05.

Blue is proportionately the most active (3.35% of total Blues). Then Silver (2.92% of total SBs). Then DTR (1.73%). Then Black (1.47%). Overall is 1.69%. Black is below the average. ;)

I have said it before on here, but here we go. Back in '03, soon after spotting my very first Marauder, I did infact see a Dark metallic green Marauder parked at a target in the handicap spot. I didn't know any better, just figured that was another color choice? I waited a LONG time for him/her to come out so I could just ask for more info on the car itself, not the color really, to avoid talking to a dealer. I ended up giving up and heading home. Are we absolutely possitive that not even ONE car came out a different color?? It WAS a MM, it was also no more than a few months old? Looked AWESOME!

Might have been a tester car to see if people reacted to it or someone who didn't like black and just had it painted. You should have waited around and talked to the owner.
