Thx bro now I can add 300A to my sig I guess
While we're on the topic of model name significance, why did they call them 300?
why not Model A, of 1A

If you have no traction control, a full size spare, map pockets on the front of the front seats, button to pop the fuel door, and a clock in the dash trim then you have a 300A. There were some mixes between 300A and 300 B. 300B has traction control, no map pockets, no clock in the dash, a shorter overhead console, no fuel door pop, and a donut spare tire. There are variations in between the two.

The above ^^^^^ only applies to the 2003 MM model year that had both 300A and 300B variants.
The 2004 MM 300A = 2003 MM 300B features. There was only one variant in 2004. All '04 Marauders are 300A.

Do you have a remote gas cap release? Traction control? Automatic parking brake release?

You got an '03 300A MM. Your August 2002 build date indicates this too. I don't think that the 300B started to show up until October 2002 with a brief transition period around that time when some cars had a mix of 300A and 300B features. These MMs were known here as the "Pre-Decontented" versions.

I think it was intended to mean "Before they removed the original contents" like the full sized spare, remote gas door release, front seat map pockets, separate clock in the dash, etc.

No problem... just add them.
I already gave the full size spare, on a polished wheel no less.
Added the clock in the dash.
Have all the parts to add the remote fuel door release, just need time to do it.
Working with an upholstery shop to add the map pockets. Will probably recover the front seats too.
I'm glad I don't have a dash clock, there is already one on the radio, and I hate redundancy. Or repitition. Or doing something over and over. Or redundancy. Or repitition.

I had a clock in the radio until I replaced the OEM head unit with a Pioneer AVIC-D2. There is a clock in the Pioneer but it's only on the nav screen.
Plus the wife wanted it!

I always chuckled to myself that my buddy with a SB MM didn't have a remote fuel door.
My '93 has one, and it's just a lowly MGM, I always wondered why a luxury car such as his didn't have one?
I just think they look a lot nicer, without the "lip" that protrudes.

Well, I've never really considered it, since I've always had one.
It would probably take finding one off an older car, swapping the locking mechanism over, and then wiring it in?
