Around the time that I purchased my Marauder in April of 2010, I joined the mercurymarauder.net community and began following the posts from the active members. Needless to say, I quickly learned some valuable information about my car, and developed a strong desire for enhanced handling and performance. Early on, I became impressed with the knowledge, experience, and willingness to assist other members demonstrated in the postings by Musclemerc. When I realized that Musclemerc lived not far from me, I knew I had to meet him. Prior to our first meeting, I discovered that the rear sway bar had been removed by a previous owner and had not been replaced on my car. The subject of one of our first discussions was whether or not to install a stock rear sway bar or to upgrade to an aftermarket unit. Musclemerc took the time to explain to me the pros and cons of various suspension upgrades, and I appreciate his willingness to share his knowledge with me.
On January 17, 2011, Musclemerc began working on my car, and the details of his work have been posted by him along with explanatory photos under the thread title “Bullyrauder’s DTR.” He delivered my car to me on Saturday, January 22, 2011 and, I have to admit, I have really enjoyed the experience of driving it over the last few days. It handles great, and there are no squeaks or annoying rattles resulting from any of the suspension modifications. The quality of Musclemerc’s workmanship and his attention to detail on my car definitely exceeded my expectations.
Thank you TS for your outstanding work :2thumbs: and for your friendship.
