I would like to put a performance chip in my 03 mm. Are there any suggestions as to what kind or which one? Do I need to change anything else when I install the chip?
Lidio & Reinhart both sell tunes.

can a stock MM, other than exhaust, handle a programmer without breaking anything? Do I need to change any other parts?

Yes, this is one of the first mods most people get when trying to get more out of their rauder.

Chips are so 90's.....
You need to purchase a tuner and a tune for either Lidio or DR.
What do you think will break if you get a tune?
A tune won't cause anything to break...... after you get a tune, the constant pressing of your right foot on the go pedal may break something......

No you don't need any other parts. The stock Marauder engine can handle the performance tune along with a slew of additional bolt on parts without any risk of failure.

I started out with a tune first that I got from Dennis Reinhart. Then I got bit by the mod bug a year later as my signature shows.:D Dennis did all my work and I've been very pleased! Good luck and have fun with your car!

I have a Diablosport chip sitting on my shelf i would be glad to let u use to find out what u get. it is a three position chip, stock, a little ,and a lot. I removed it in favor of a tuner.
The performance is about the same but the shifts were a little too hard with the wife in the car with the Diablo E-mail" fandroski@tampabay.rr.com"

Thank you for the offer, but I think I will go for the tuner.

Keep us posted, especially after you get the tune uploaded and you've had a chance to drive the car.

You do not want a chip you want a hand held tuner I prefer SCT Xcal 3 but Diablo also sells a tuner, you can buy SCT from my self or Lidio you can call me any time I will be glad to answer all your questions.
