Cobra Swap pre-conclusion

I just am wanting to share and let everyone enjoy (laugh at me if you may) my project and process. So here is what my plans are...

Purchasing a 03 Cobra Reman Long Block from Dahmer In KC
swapping Timing Cover from my MM motor
using brackets that Terry (Gortch) (SIDE note for Impala Slayer, gonna get the SC brackets too, to be ready!!!)
gotta buy a Oil pan, mine has too much ventalition.
swap out valve covers with MM ones
buy FlexPlate M-6375-H46 (Jegs says shipping today)
gasket kits I need to complete installation
Battery doesnt need relocated at this time, but planning to move to trunk if everything works out.
Put Camera in Truck today so I dont forget it (thanks for reminder Motown )
turn off the knock sensors
work on getting on ImpalaSlayers good side, poked at him too much last time on him financing the SC project.

And hopefully turn key and vrooooommmmm

Take it to paint shop for a fresh paint job (spider cracks everywhere)
wanna talk about what color of black..... seen other posts on that one...

Take it to STL to show Bodyman (great guy BTW)

If anyone wants, I will be keeping track of parts and part #'s of what all I get for finish this project....

its all good dude, just poking back.

i think you may be some what confused about the brackets. Terry only makes brackets for the SC conversion for the mm timing cover. in other words, if you plan to run a cobra motor with a mm timing cover and no blower you dont need anything from terry.

Good deal Bud I'd like to see that either in progress or end result. Iam pretty much there myself just got a few nick nack parts and set. can you say 20lbs boost I cant wait. The only thing I would like diff would be a piston swap on my Alluminator to a slightly higher comp ratio something like 9.25-1 that would be even split between are cars comp and 03 cobra. But the 8.5.1 should do just fine!! Good luck Bud let me know if I can help in anyway.

STATUS UPDATE:::
picked up Cobra motor Monday, Jegs shipped the Flex plate and bolts. Local Ford ordered oil pan....
Gonna start swapping stuff out tommorrow. trying to find charger for my camera battery.....
hopefully will posts picks late tomorrow....
