Today was an excellent class taught by Mike Phillips.
We used all the popular tools, Porter Cable, Flex, Griots, and Cyclo We took a POS 03 Taurus and brought it back to life.
Tomorrow we do color sanding and buffing.
If you go to the site to watch click on pay per view but after you go through all the pages it is free. Check it out!

What a great experience. Got my OCD on baby!!
I consider myself pretty proficient at detailing but I certainly learned a lot this weekend.
The money I saved by trying many products as well as many detailing tools (polishers, rotary buffers and carpet stain extractors) and finding that what I thought I would like I didn't and vice-versa.
I ended up buying another polisher that was $180 less than the one I had planned on. I also came home with some nice freebies including a 3 0z. tub of Woflgang Fusion autographed by Max and a Detailing Garage DVD autographed by Mike and Max.
And 5 different brands of products. Of which I had only used one. The trials alone saved me some bucks because one of the products I had been leaning towards purchasing was a dog.
I really enjoyed meeting Mike Phillips and Max the owner of Autogeek.
I hope to get back in March for their Detailfest, 2 days of car show, Monster trucks and race cars as well as manufacturer's reps for all the products they sell and mini seminars for both days.
Rumor is there will be live music and a beer truck.
