took my car to a alignment shop to get the carfixers specs done, but te mechanic of 33 years of doing alignments could not adjust mine, from under the hood he loosned those two bolts to slide the strut assy in or out but even with a pry bar and 200lbs of force it would not move. what else do you need to loosen to change the camber?

the big cam bolts on the lower control arm is what you adjust camber with.

Don't even need to be ground off. A BFH and a BFC are all you need.

33 years huh? Just what exactly did he think moving a strut (with no adjustment mind you) would do??? WOW!

Find a new shop...

Or are you talking about the engine cross member? Even worse. There is no upper adjustment.

Going to have to find a new shop anyway, the owner banned me from the shop because I refused to pay them anything because they accomplished nothing, the ***** wanted 90 bucks just because the car was on the hoist. Then I mentioned the scuffs on my fender the mechanic left from leaning on it and I told her I would pay the 90 bucks if she pays to get my car re painted. And all this went out in the front in front of some customers, at that point she just told me to get my car out of the shop and that she never wants to see me again... fine with me seeya.

Well why pay for anything if nothing was done.....I would either take mine to the dealership or Firestone.....I get mine done at Firestone with a lifetime alignment and have been very happy with it.
