Just started pricing an intake replacement. Doing the Edelbrock Victor JR EFI intake with the Professional Products fuel rail kit this spring, along with headers. Trying to decide which way to go with the upper intake plenum and throttle body. Just did research and found out the 80mm 5.4l throttle body will work for a throttle body swap. Just need to find an upper plenum with an 80mm or larger bore, to go that route. Dragon Performance makes an oval upper intake plenum for the square flanged lower intakes. Does anyone know if the dual 62mm and 65mm throttle bodies are compatible with the tps and elec. motor plug ins. Voltage shouldn't be a problem, that can be adjusted to pre swap readings. If I'm not correct with my research, on the throttle bodies, please let me know. Thank You.

Why not just do a PI swap?

The 05 GM already has PI heads and intake. The Victor Jr intake, #28385, is made for the PI heads for the 04 mustang gt. That year engine set up is what I have always had to use when doing work to my car, but the 05 GM uses DBW throttle control. Everything below the throttle body is 04 Mustang.
