Any interest in a MM patch?

I tore my MM jacket at about shoulder level. Instead of just sewing it up, I'm thinking of having an embroidered gods head patch made to cover it up. Maybe with the club name on the border (if that's ok with Logan).

Mac and I have digital images if you want 'em. A lot of the production houses want camera ready art or a digital file, which we can provide.

I guess I'm into medical books too much.......when I first read this thread title, I thought this was a joke about a hypothetical "MM Patch" such as the Patch used for Nicotine, or HRT.:D Can you imagine walking in the drug store and hearing a ricer ask the Pharmacist for a "MM Patch"???

.....anyway, that hat looks real cool!!!! I want one of those, and yes, I too am interested in a MM patch(no, not one to put on my arm, but one to put on a jacket;) )....

now that would be a big seller........a patch that would give the user the same feeling that you get when you drive your Marauder. A "Marauder Patch"..........

They could have a N/A Marauder patch, and a S/C'd marauder patch. Ofcourse the S/c'd patch would undoubtedly cost a lot more.;)

I do work in the pharmaceutical industry, but I don't think I can help with the MM addiction. I sympathize with y'all that can't drive it year round.

Can anybody send me the artwork (or a close-up picture) for the hats. That way patches could be made to match. Size preferences, anyone? Maybe 3"? Black background with silver thread? or white thread?

I've only spoken with one possible supplier so far, but that's enough to know it can be done. Accurate pricing is not yet available. Based on this first quote, it could be between $6 and $10 each, depending on qty. I'll check other suppliers when I get artwork.

edit: Those qty numbers are about 100 and 10 (more or less). If I only get one made it's about $30 due to fixed costs for set-up. ouch!

Brian: Logan has different artwork than Mac and I. Perhaps Logan can share his artwork so that the patches match the hat. I think his artwork was made up for the stickers that were given out/sold at teh Roundup. If not, send me an e-mail to martin_ochs@hotmail.com and I will send you the digital artwork that Mac and I have (it is slightly different than Logan's artwork).

I've been in contact with Logan. He's going to check with the firm that is doing the hats. He can probably get a better deal that way, and any profits can help support the club. If that doesn't work out, I'll have to do something to fix my jacket sleeve so it'll be back to plan A.

Maybe it would be good for this thread to continue collecting comments and requests so Logan can gauge interest and determine how many to make in the first production run.

TAF, thanks for the suggestion at the ATL breakfast. Sounds like you hit the nail on the head, judging from all the comments so far. I guess tearing a hole in my jacket did have a positive outcome.

You can add a few to my Christmas wish list. But the item at the top of my list is Marauder fender badges. I can't wait till spring, and my car looks naked without them. I missed getting them last time they where available. Oh well I guess I'll have to settle for other mods in the mean time.

Uh, so maybe I could purchase a new spa for the bathroom that has an inlaid Godshead badge in the bottom and all the fixtures would also have godsheard emblems on them. Somebody should be able to supply them for a couple of bucks give or take. Yea!! On second thought I think I will pass and continue to save fo my S/C. I wonder if I pull out my last three teeth the Tooth Fairy will leave me enough to get my S/C.
