Just last year the EATC was replaced at the stealer. It seemed to work better not 100%. Spring came warmer weather followed & I forgot about it. Now that it is the dead of winter I call for heat once again. I get the same temp no mater what the temp is set on. Sometimes if I program temp to highest setting then lower to say 68 degree it gives me cooler air. The stealer is no longer there. What's up with the constant desert temp ?

Sounds like the "dreaded blend door" problem.
The blend door controls the mixing of the hot & cold air to get the desired temperature.
I'd look under the dash and check all the vacuum hoses. See that they are all connected and there are no kinks.

Not to high jack ... But haw hard is it to replace the Blend Door on these cars? Ong SHO, it required removing the whole dash.

I think it just as hard on the Marauder.

I also have the same problem. It's the blend door or the actuator. I found a how to but it looks like a PITA.

It is hard, requires dashboard removal. Ask me how I know...
