Hmmm...

The steering wheel isn't correct.

The 429-4V MM's had the X-100 badges on the front fenders and dual exhaust.

Would be a great project car nonetheless.

Hub caps?

Mike.

Strange idea for a winter beater. Put that thing away before someone gets hurt!

The slow shutter speed of the camera is causing the snowflakes to appear as lines on the interior shots.

Why on earth wouldn't he put it inside and photo it there as opposed to doing it outside in a snowstorm?

Yeah only the Torino, Cyclone, Mustang and Cougar had the Cobra Jet, or Super Cobra Jet as options... Top dog for '69-'70 in the full size cars and T-Bird was the 429 Thunder-Jet that was more of a low speed torquer, but of course that's what was needed to get those barges moving...

In '71(maybe) but defiantly '72 there was a 429 Police option avail in the full size models used most of the earlier Cobra Jet components... In the late 70s a friend had a '72 Custom(unmarked ex-detective unit) that was fairly bad ass for a full size car of the era...

I've always found these Marauders rather awkward-looking. It's still a nice cruiser, even if it has a few dings and missing pieces. I'd change a few things about it and make it look a little more tough.

Also, this picture...

...reminds me of Chester from the MTV show Sifl And Olly (from the 90s):

No one has mentioned this so far, but looks obvious that paint on left door and fender is a different color than header panel. Also it's lacking pinstriping on these panels.

That's not an X-100, it's a base Marauder. It could have been originally ordered and built with a 4V 429, but most came with a 2V 390. The X-100s usually had the 4V 429. But back then you could order just about any mix you wanted and they would build it to order.

Mike it's a base marauder not the X-100 which was standard with the 429. Bast car could have been order with the 429.

All that white stuff is exactly why I left the great white north 11 years ago.......15 years behind schedule! I love North Carolina!
