I wonder if we can get this guy to come to the Ford Nationals in Carlisle this year!

No clue. I do know this, MCM members pay to park in those lots, we buy a "lot" of parking spaces for the privilege.:D

Very nice for the MCM and Marauders to get honorable mention on Woodward during the Woodward Dream Cruise. If you haven't been to at least one WDC, it is an experience to remember.

Dave/MI2QWK4U is tied in pretty well with the Ford Performance Group (FPG) and probably knows some of the folks personally. He worked extensively with them for quite a while to get the FPG Limited Production Certificates for Marauder owners. You may have to work through an MCM member to encourage participation of FPG at Carlisle. Anyone remember whether they were represented at All-Fords last year (or years past)?

As I remember, the parking fee for MV3/WDC in August 2005 was about $65.00 and charged as a part of the overall registration. For that price, we had exclusive parking rights to the Burger King lot across from Dugan's Irish Pub. If you have the Limited Edition Michael Irvine "Marauder Print", you will recognize the spot.

For that $65.00, I got "guaranteed" parking on Woodward Avenue in one of the prime locations (if not THE prime location). Parking fee covered Wednesday, Thursday, and Fridays nights and all day Saturday (about $16.00 per day per car). During MV3, I counted as many as 85 Marauders in the lot at one time. In addition to the actual parking, that fee covered a Marauder mug (about 20 ounces) that was good for unlimited refills of coffee, water or softdrinks inside the Burger King. Over the course of 4 days, my son and I recouped much of my parking expense.

Yes, the parking is pricey .... but IMHO is well worth it to be at the right place, at the right time, with free drinks to boot. :D

I've been there every year since MV3? I have not been a member or the MCM group. No issues with them, just didn't have the time to track multiple sites and have many friends here. I stopped by and talked with some of the members who gracioiusly offered for me to move from the side street where I was parted to the Burger King, free of charge. I had the grand kids with me Aand they were tired so we cut our day short.

Woodward is an amazing event and worth the trip if you have never been. Diane and I have many friends and family to visit and fill the rest of the week. Best to go on Friday although Saturday is the "officical day" THere are more cars than you can take in on Friday. It's hard to get near the street Saturday and way too crouded. Just my two sense.

If MCM is charging $65 for parking... I'd say that is reasonable for the All day show in the prime location.

I might just be Marauder-crazy, but is that a MM in the background of the 2nd picture down from the top!?

You should. It's fun... Not to mention the variety of street rods, customs & classics. :)

I missed Woodward like four years straight till 2010,
It had been so long since I got together with MCM, I don't remember watching the cars, except when I got stuck in traffic on Woodward after hours.
