Another reason I went with wilwoods. They're the only company to make kits for BOTH front and rear.

I went with the 13" kit. Todd said the 14" would not fit with the stock wheel.

Todd has been good on responding quickly. Said he would have it ready by end of week or early next week to ship.

Hey Chris,
Have you had your wheels widened yet? I've got a pair I need to send off and have widened. Just haven't been motivated lately.........maybe I'll go ahead and box these up and send them off.

I had talked to our "former" resident tech....Scott.....and of all the kits he had installed he told me the Wildwoods were definately the route to go.
Another thing on my "to-do" list. I'll be checking yours out when you complete the install.

Those look awesome! I'm excited about this upgrade. Also going to send wheels to weldscraft in the next couple of months. Waiting till after Kentucky meet and will probably do the week I get back. I just picked up my new rear tires today. NITTO 555 Extremes in 295/45/18. They'll be put up til I can get wheels done. After this I should be good on mods for the year.:bigcry: Trying to fly under the radar with the wife. :hide:

Sorry, I missed this earlier. I haven't sent the wheels off yet. Thought about waiting til after the Kentucky meet. I'm not sure of the turn around but I think around a 3-4 weeks last I heard. They might be caught up now. I have 2 of the wheels they put on the mustang that looks like ours. I was going to put them on for now. The fitment of the center cap I 've been told doesn't work just right but they'll get me by while my wheels are getting worked on. I would like to get before the Kentucky meet but not sure if that'll be pushing it. 10-4 on the Wilwoods. I might have them installed by the Sat meet this month but it depends on when they get here. I'll post up some picts once they are installed. Have a good one!

I hear you guys, but when I bought my Kit (14"), Baer sold front and back--and I got them in back as well but w/o the calipers--using the stock ones instead and they work great--that was in '03--not sure now--Doom may be correct at this point in time--fastblackmerc has driven mine and he can vouch--I believe its the driver that determines the value of how well your brakes are broke in and last--so far mine are on 32K and same pads--including about 30+ times down the 1320--

Either way Chris, it's great you will have them--as we all have told you already--believe someone mentioned way back about doing that even---hummmmmm

Thanks Tom, I can't wait to get them on. Yours look great! As of right now I am doing the fronts only on brakes. I sent my rear wheels up to weldcraft a week ago as well so I'm forking out some cheese between the wheels, tires and brakes.:D Once I get those back and new tires put on hopefully she'll be set for a while. I might do the rear's by year end. We'll see how this year goes. You guys need to make a run down here in the next few months for the 3rd Saturday of the month gathering or just make a entire weekend of it.

You'll be amazed with your new stopping power!

BTW.... The rear brakes are adequate. Just upgrade to a better pad, stainless steel lines and maybe new rotors. That's what I'm doing to mine. Got slotted rotors to match the fronts.
