Anyone seen these? Anyone bought any? Anyone know if they even fit a Marauder?

the design looks very similar to the kooks, but the ones pictured are for CV's

I think they will work if you cut the 2v flanges off and weld in the 4v flanged just my opinion

These are the same one's Bawazir ordered and returned.

They will not work on a 32V, we have oval exhaust ports

Their website still does not list them for a 4 valve.

I have never had the chance to see close up the ports on a 2V VS a 4V. Are they really all that different that these can't be run?? Are we talking not a good match or completely won't work? If I kept my T set up, I don't need the extra ponies, so I could care less for efficiency, just lookin for sound. I sent him a message a couple days ago inquiring port pics, maybe I should check my messages :)

Even if the port shape didn't matter, the spread between the tubes would have to be the same, or expect a lot of rework to get the tubes to match.

Kinda wish I had a CV now to test first on the Rauder...then through it at the Vic if all else fails :)

I have a CV but it's not worth $600 to see if they work, maybe I'll go to the junk yard, and spec out a 2 valve head.

I sent a message also about them, but haven't gotten a reply either.

I learned this bit of info from reading similar threads on this forum.

Wide exhaust ports = 4V

Round exhaust ports = 2V

This guy is definitely trying to rip people off by not answering. I tried reporting the user to ebay, but there's no "Lying in description" reason in the form to report the user. You can only select a reason from a drop down menu and none apply.

Nice picture of the factory system. Thanks for posting.

The main reason ours are much wider is simply 2 exhaust valves. I also saw this and sent a message, but I'm not holding my breath.

What I'm kind of curious, has anyone made any offroad/catless, bolt-in lead pipes? I'd like to keep my cats around for emissions testing, so I would like to not hack them up if possible...

So....... just wonder how hard it would be to turn up some stainless header flanges. Would think I could get the others cut off, and the new ones welded on for a couple hundred bucks.

Would these work and be decent for a '04 Grand Marquis? I found another set on ebay and was curious if it would work. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&_trksid=p4712.m2000054&item=190519838659&viewitem=

Absolutely. The exhaust configuration is identical for the Crown Vic and the Grand Marquis. Actually, I'd be more skeptical of the compatibility listed for the Marauder.

But if they're designed for the Crown Vic, they'll work in the Marquis.

I'd get headers already designed for the 4v instead.

If your willing to do all of that, why not find a used set of header's for a Cobra or Mach1? They will fit but you have to massage the tube for cylinder #5

Here is a set of BBK's on a MM that I recently did.

How exactly do you massage the tube for cylinder #5 ?

A block of wood and a 3lb mallet.

It's like playing wack-A-mole
