Anyone here use them instead of the Ford GT or SVT Focus fuel pumps? I came across a good deal on a 340 lph one and was thinking about upgrading.

I talked to the guys from Aeromotive at the PRI show and couldn't give me a definite answer if these would work in our cars.. So I went ahead and bought a GT pump.
Never seen these before how much are they and I'm curious if these really work with a pwm system? GT pumps are rated at 310lph, replace 2 GT pumps with these and there is an additional 60lph.

Walbro, is very close to releasing a new high volume return less pump, this would be great the GT pumps have gone up 50% I spoke to there engineer yesterday and he is going to send me some to test and data log.

Looks like this is a better alternative than the GT pump for a comparable price. I'm going to do a little more research but I think I'll be picking up one of these instead. Hopefully when walbro releases their pricing will come down across the board. I love having options.

Looks like a good offering. I just got done with a twin focus FP install and Zacks 3" filter upgrade and my pumps are quiet... I wonder how much racket this one makes?

The local shop that is selling them told me their retail price is $169.99 plus tax.
I went online and found a place for a few bucks cheaper including shipping
http://www.phantasmusa.com/aeromotive-11142.html
Not sure which one to order
Universal Applications
Please note with pump you need by ording the correct part numbers ...
Aeromotive (11140) 340 HP Fuel Pump, with Install Kit (Center Inlet)
Aeromotive (11141) 340 HP Fuel Pump, with Install Kit (Offset Inlet)
Aeromotive (11142) 340 HP Fuel Pump, with Install Kit (Offset Inlet, Inline with Outlet)

The one that the Fords use I think is the 40.
Its supposed to co-witness the walbro PN's
GSS340 (the 255lph high pressure) is the 11140 Aeromotive.
If my GSS340 with a BAP ever runs out on my fox I'll be looking at one of these pumps for sure.
Also...Aeromotive says they are OK with pulse driven systems like the returnless Modulars. I'd love to throw 2 of these bad boys in our 01' and never worry about fuel again.
Dennis. Any idea about the MSRP the walbro's will be?

There is another new intank fuel pump option that flows really well and is E85 compatiple for those that want to run gas or E85. The pump is pretty new but the guys at the turbro buick forums and some import guys are starting to use them.
The company is Deatsch Werks and the pump comes in a few part numbers. It looks just like the walbro 342 and 340 and flows tons of fuel and is nice and quiet.

I spoke to Aeromotives Tech department yesterday, and I will try these pumps, I will tell you they have no testing on these pumps in a return less fuel system environment, I was also told these pumps at full capacity draw a lot of current so I would run a external relay and larger diameter wire back to the FPDM, I do not think a BAP may be needed in most applications, but the technician did say if a BAP is used then they do draw a lot of current, so I will order these and test them and I am going to send the data to them.
Did they say how many amps the pump will draw?

No I will gather that data I ordered two pumps today, right now they are going for 169.00, what you really need to look at the same time is FP Volt and FP duty cycle

I may need to upgrade to two of these in place of my twin GT pumps. Especially if they're bolt-in (or strap-in) replacements.

Hey Dennis! You mentioned upgrading to larger gauge wireto FPDM and a relay for twins. So you can still run one FPDM? Thanks! Oh, and do you change Proportional and Integral Term Gain at all?
Dennis Reinhart
03-16-2011, 10:57 AM
I have never run twin FPDM's on a Marauder this would probably be a good idea, I believe Brian Sipe did this on his car I am going to wait till I run Dual Aeromotives and look at the data before I decide what if any thing is needed, the pumps are on back order till June.

Wasn't me, I still use a single FPDM, with upgraded output drivers. And a BAP. And a relay, with larger wire. And doubled up wiring from the FPDM to pumps.
