I know this is going to sound stupid, but how is the spare and jack suppose to mount? I think someone has robbed, or changed out the mounting parts. I have 2 different bolts that hook the hold down in the body, and nether one seems to work with the parts I have. It will not tighten down, and everything flops around.

The " J" goes thru the wheel and jack then thru the strap on the shelf.

Really, my jack is in a cloth bag, I just put it next to the spare, then tighten it down, and the spare holds the jack against the deck lid supports, no movement at all.

Guess I will need to take some pictures of what I have. One j-hook is pretty short with a washer and a plastic wing nut. The other j-hook is very long, with a maybe 7-8 inch long plastic cone thingy to tighten everything down. It doesn't have the full size spare BTW.

Sounds like you've got the mounting hardware for both the full size and donut spare.

Short one should work with the donut rim upside down.

The short "J" hook and the wing nut are for the temporary spare.

The long "J" hook and long plastic thingy are for the regular size spare.

It's the correct mounting info in the owners manual?

Here is a question or two: Does the mini spare have the same revs as the front of rear size oem tire or neither? I guess it wouldnt matter if you had a front flat but a rear flat?

Skinny mini is same height as the stock backs. Hence, you can put it front or back.
