Can the 2v PI heads be put on the Mach 1 block. My concern I guess would be the head bolts and the cooling jackets. I already have a set of ported and polished 2v heads waiting for a block.

Yes, all Mod motor heads fit all mod motor blocks. If you swap heads, you need to get the matching cam chains and front cover too.

Thank You. I thought there were cooling jacket issues.

I'm 99% sure 2v heads will work with 4v pistons.

Just have to watch out for that 1%................
That could be a real problem.

Your compression is going to be high with that combo:
2v NPI heads: 51cc chamber and 11cc dish
2v PI heads: 42cc chamber and 18cc dish
4v heads: 52cc chamber and 3cc dish
When PI heads are put on a non PI block it ends up in the 10.5:1 compression range. a 42cc chamber with a 3cc dish could put you into the mid 11:1 compression ratio. If you're not planning on using nitrous or any other power adder you may get away with it with a good tune and fuel.

Thank You very much for that info. What about a 5.4l block?
