Gas Gauge

I have had my '03 MM for about a month and one thing that is annoying is the gas gauge. After i fill up and run about 25 miles the gauge is reading 3/4 already. It seems to even out after the 1/2 mark. But if i run to the e mark it still only takes about 15 gallons. Any one else have the problem or know of a fix??

I work at a dealership in FL, and we have seen this problem. Plus, I have access to OASIS, I have a MM vin, and I run it with concerns I see here on the board.

is it me or does the low fuel light come on to early...i have driven around 16 miles with it on......

It goes on when there's about 2.5 gallons left in the tank. I've driven 30 miles on a low fuel light before no problem.

The low fuel indicator is just letting you know it's time to look for gas.
