I finally broke down and put on my winter snow boots. They are P225/60R17 on the front and P245/60R17 on the back. They are mounted on 2004 Lincoln Town Car wheels. I will go later and get the caps for them.

No offense to you other guys that have put on the "snow shoes"...but...MAN....that looks GREAT!

You REALLY took the time to make sure she looks good going to the winter dances, as well as the spring/summer socials. Way to treat her like she deserves.

No offense taken. Looks really sharp. Initially I looked at 17" sets with AL wheels, but the cost ranged from $950 - $1000 and up, depending on the style.

Just little too much $ for me. Glad to see someone else did it.

Thanks to all of you. I can't wait to see if I can break these loose easier than the original.

Nice job Big! Winter tires that don't look like winter tires! Where did you get the wheels? How much did they run you?

Martyo, a friend of mine had a set on his MM. He has only one car and has to drive his trough the winter. When I saw his I wanted a set. Some guy he knows got them for me. As for price, I would rather not say. Not as much as some would think. They also have fresh Michelins on them. My friend is out of town for the holiday. When he gets back I will see if his friend can get some more. Can't promise anything.

I y'all are looking for something sporty like this for your MM, look here? Prices seem okay, considering what the "snow tire" package runs. Just a suggestion...

Don't worry, Slim, they WILL break loose easier than stock. In fact, you almost have to detune your engine to keep tread on snows. I use the 16" Pilot ALpins, and they were around $140/each. That's big bux for easy spinning!
