View Full Version : Even Flow Cooling Kits

Don called me today, they have discontinued the kits. They have sold all the surplus to Lethal performance, and they will be making kits for Mustangs. I will be making kits for the Marauder, I will be selling these they will be the same quality but I am sure the cost will go up because of having to have these made on a CNC machine. I will offer them with the crimp clamps and the cross over tube nipple. I will not sell the adapter with the bung in it, because Ford no longer sells the the URH. And as I said it will be a revised kit of the same quality.

I will have all the parts ready by next week, this will be a revised kit, no screw clamps, no cross over tube adapter, what will be included is a stainless steel tube and a steel brazing rod, that will allow any one to braze in the tube with map gas, so you do not have to find a tig welder, the screw claps will be replaced with crimp clamps, this also allows you to keep the upper radiator hose intact, I will post pictures next week.

Ok here is the complete revised kit, gone is the upper radiator hose adapter, so the upper radiator hose does not have to be cut since it is no longer available through Ford. What replaced it it the stainless 1/2" steel nipple that you can braze in or have tig welded into the cross over tube, gone are the screw clamps, replaced with crimp clamps, the C&C company says they may be able to incorporate the brass fittings into the aluminum adapters as one piece. I think that would be great, and I am working on a specific kit for the Trilogy and Eaton cars.

Won't fit on the passenger side. Too much material would have to be removed from the lower intake to clear that aluminum fitting that goes in the freeze out plug. You would wind up carving throught the aluminum....

It has to do with the SC coming close to the fitings in the back, but this can easily be adjusted. I have a real good C&C shop he can make any thing.

Here is the issue with the Eaton/Trilogy kits both use the 03 Cobra lower intake.

The owner of the C&C shop just left and said he can make this work, the intake of course has to come off but will slide into the modified adapter.

With all the chatter and misinformation, it's good to see Even Flow Cooling set the record straight.

http://www.evenflowcooling.com/Marauder1.html

NOTE TO CUSTOMERS: EVEN FLOW COOLING HAS DISCONTINUED OUR COOLING KITS FOR THE MERCURY MARAUDER. EVEN FLOW COOLING IS AWARE THAT REINHART AUTOMOTIVE INTENDS TO OFFER A COOLING KIT THAT WAS BASED OFF OF OUR MARAUDER DESIGN. REINHART AUTOMOTIVE WAS A DISTRIBUTOR FOR EVEN FLOW COOLING'S MARAUDER KIT WHEN IT WAS AVAILABLE AND REMAINS IN GOOD STANDING WITH EVEN FLOW COOLING. CUSTOMERS INTERESTED IN A MARAUDER SPECIFIC COOLING KIT CAN CONTACT REINHART AUTOMOTIVE FOR FURTHER INFORMATION.

EVEN FLOW COOLING WILL KEEP THE MARAUDER INFORMATION PRESENTED BELOW FOR CUSTOMER KNOWLEDGE AND RESEARCH

The Mercury Marauders are equipped with essentially the same 4.6 DOHC engine as the Mach 1 Mustangs. There are, however, some significant differences in regard to the cooling system. The first thing we notice is the upper radiator hose and the air intake are on the driver's side of the engine compartment.

The most significant thing about the Marauder engine is that they take their coolant from the crossover tube and route it to the heater core inlet. On Mach 1s and Cobras, the heater core receives its coolant directly from the rear of the passenger side cylinder head via a factory installed fitting. This path gives the Mach 1s and Cobras an outlet from the passenger cylinder head that the Marauders do not benefit from. So a Marauder-specific cooling mod would require a head cooling fitting on not only the drivers head, but the passenger head also.

Awesome! Another great product from you Dennis..

I want to thank every body for there support, I just want to be clear this is not a kit I made, Don did the initial design and I did help with that some years ago and I have sold this kit as Even Flow. I have known Don and his wife for years, I sold him a Pro racer package for his 03 Cobra, so when he called me and told me that him and Nancy were going to throttle back and quit selling them he gave me the go a head to sell these so I had a CNC shop here duplicate these. I try and think of new ideas for our car, I am not Amazon.Com or Summit racing, I sell quality name brand products backed by the manufactures warranty, I offer almost 24/7 product support this is what make the difference, in pricing.

I really want to see how the Eaton S/C kit will turn out. I have a Eaton at the shop I can use to test fit next week, I hope every one had as good as weekend as my self and wife have, I also want to thank the Moderators Mary,Bob,Dan and Mike, for posting this. And I am looking forward to Louisville.

First of all I want to thank Don, for allowing me to move forward with this.

I am real proud of how this kit has turned out, this kit will work on N/A as well as all Trilogy and Eaton and Ken Bell kits, below is the original kit except for the fact I use crimp clamps instead of screw clamps, and I weld a nipple in the cross over tube instead of cutting the URH and adding the adapter.

Now if you look on the passenger side how the fitting sticks up, this is what prevents the Trilogy Eaton kits from fitting, now look at what we have done.

Dennis, it is nice to see all the tone down around here. I'm glad that you realize what you offer is different than other vendors here. Keeping that separation of what each and all of you offer is paramount and productive for our community. :) And thanks for letting me post in your forums.;)

Well thank you, what I offer is a design for the Eatons, the original that was initialy designed by Don, where the confusion was the fact that it was reported I was not authorized to sell the kit for the Marauder, and I was from day one.

So with that being said we are all packed up for Louisville, and I am looking forward to this weekend and meeting many of you. I will be bringing product, pro guard sent some product directly to the hotel. And I have many other companies product.

Even if you had to grind away a 1/16 for more clearance it's better than taking that huge chunk out like before.

Just got mine delivered from the big brown truck. Man what a nice piece of work! This is one of the few modifications that look factory. The quality of the machining is superb. The offset of the RH fitting is perfect for the Trilogy. I purchased this sight unseen, and it is exactly as marketed. It is possible to of cobbled up something different, but I work on cars because I want to, not because I have to.I didn't want to have to worry about potential cooling system leaks. I feel confident once this is done that there will be no follow up issues. After spending what I have in mods, the price of this kit is nothing compared to the potential damage that this kit will prevent. Thanks Dennis for the great customer service and great product. Ill keep ya posted.
