I am looking to do an Eaton Swap but wanted see what I would need to support 500-550rwhp or so.
Selling the 39lb injectors for 60lbs - Check
Looking at a Kenne Bell BAP and a Single GT pump or Duel GT Pumps. Question is would a Single GT pump and BAP support 550rwhp?

Brian, personally I would do a twin setup and use a Fore "Y" in the tank. The GT pump has alot of flow but since it's soooo popular the price has shot through the roof. Have you looked at the SVT Focus pump? They flow a little less than the GT and will save you alot of cash, especially if you go twin. I got a connection for new Focus pumps so if you want them let me know. Search "Aeromotive" we just had a thread about their new in tank pumps for returnless systems. They also look good for the money
You should also do Zacks 3" fuel filter mod, it will also help with delivering more flow
Have you thought about what you will do with the EGR? NONE of the Eaton guys run emmissions EGR or PCV....

DR is suppose to be doing some data research on the Aeromotive fuel pumps, hopefully he collects some good data with them.

Yeah, still sorting out the fuel situation; so thanks for the input. Probably going with twin Ford GT pumps and call it a day. And yes been chatting with RacerX and looking at doing the same Zack Fuel Filter Mod.
As far as EGR is concerned I am looking at a workaround every 2 years :D or something like that.

So Ive been reading....single GT pump and a BAP will support around 500rwhp give or take pass that..:bigcry:
Thanks for the input guys! Not going to rush this project can take me a while depending on availability of parts; deals that are out there etc. I found a nice low mileage Eaton (400 miles) that I am eying so we will see. I even came accross a Whipple 2.3L with only 3k miles on it but $2700 is a little to rich for my taste right now considering what I already dumped in her...lol

Can also get a 340lph pump and use the KB BAP. Get a real fuel filter and connections too. Ever look at the inner diameter size of the connectors that go on the stock filter? Eek!

DOHC +1 on twin GT pumps that whats going in mine. As for 1 gt & a 40amp BAP thats what I run in my 03 & its at 500 exact to the rear dont know what the duty cycle is but it hasnt ran out of fuel with that set up. Yeah on the egr thats what youll have to do just work around it. But doesnt the lovely state of Cali have pass thru emmisions (mobile sniffers) like on on ramps and stuff. Hey if ya dont get the Whipple now at least youll be ready for it down the road.
Are you looking for any Eaton stuff by the way? I got a lwr intake a eaton w/plenum a 03 cobra air inlet tube and some other stuff.. due to coming accross a great deal on a whipple myself.

Sweet! Yeah gonna need the lower intake; Eaton and all of the above. PM me with what you got miles; condition and of course price:) I havent started any purchases yet doing the normal planning legwork (CARB/SMOG). As stated not in a rush will be picking up pieces here and there over a period of time.

Thats the best way to go about it took my time accquiring most stuff. I have 2 of several parts Ill go thru it all tommorow and send you a PM. As for taking time rounding up all the parts It undoubtly gave me the ability to 1 pick and choose parts (mileage quality) & get some stuff for great prices. On the Lwr int its a extra I was having a heck of a time getting one when pooking around so when they came up I just bought both knowing someone on here would need one. As more MM & Machs do the swap the harder some parts are to get. Honestly though If I was just starting out I would re-think the Turbo idea seems like 2 T's can make some crazy HP/TQ #,s I would be curious how a TT set up would effect emisions you living in Green country & all:beer:

Agreed but from high 5's to 7's just going by memory on both guys cars. Yeah my 03 just demands major fuel at top end. Like I was saying I plan on having a BAP incase.

If you're going with twin GTs and a BAP, fuel shouldn't be an issue.

Hey Brian! This is what I was talking about as far as fuel line connectors before and after the fuel FILTER! (I said pump, meant filter!) Mega restriction! Get a straight aeromotive billet with a 40 micron ss cleanable filter. And no people, I don't use lotion in the winter... Bastids! :D

Brian F-filter mod is a must. Iam doing the dual pumps andhoping no need for a BAP but will have one on hand and truthfuly will be suprised if I do. Considering my 03 with a single GT pump and 40amp Bap is making 500 I cant see were a the dual GT pumps wont be able to keep up if Iam going for 5-mid 5's on my 04

You are shooting for a very conservative power considering the setup your going to have.
I think you can make high 500's with the 2.3 whipple.

What is your injector duty cycle at WOT and 500RWHP? Was it on a DynoJet?
