I bought a full set of 255/55/18 for the Mo and have been more than happy with them. They stick like glue, ride very comfortable and are quiet and were a big step up from the Falkens I had on previously. I did not read reviews before buying and would not have bought them if I had done my homework but WTS I love the tires. Anyone else running these and what do you think about them as I only have a few thousand miles on them. Most of the bad comments on tirerack was would not go in snow which I do not drive the Mo in snow so I do not care.

IIRC, DOOM runs them, Bluerauder did too, but I think he went back to OEM rears recently.

When I bought my car it had Goodyear Eagle RS-A in front and the Eagle LS2 in the rear. I have been happy with the LS2s in the rear. The LS2 is a great tire. They do stick nicely, feel stiff enough for aggressive handling, and they are quiet. Ive put almost 10k on them and have had no problems. Not impressed with the RS-A on the other hand. They seem to be wearing as fast as my rears, and with their $250+ price tag, I'll be shopping for different fronts.

Still got lot's of rake, most of the rake is in the suspension not the tires. Mine still has plenty of rake without the delta in tire size front to back. I am thinking of taking all the rake out by lower the rear for better COG and handling. OBTW I like the tires filling up and the fender well and also being able to rotate the tires is a big plus.

It only reviewed like a 5.7. I like to see at least a 8.0 on tires I buy. Several of the reviewers said they were the worst tire they had ever owned, pretty strong statements but like I said, so far so good with me. Just was wondering if anyone else had them and how they ran after some mileage.

Willi, any clearance issues in the front with the 255/55s?
I was going to do the same on my car, but got some rubbing at full lock in either direction, so stayed with a smaller tire in the front.

Rex, you mean Doom keeps Goodyear in business by burning through several sets a year, but I know he loves them.

No rub lock to lock. I might have had it once or twice when hitting a bump at full turn. Different tires also have different shoulders and widths even when they are listed as the same size. I got really tired of throwing good money after bad by not being able to rotate. I live in the mountains on the crookedest roads you can imagine and it takes it's toll on tire wear. If worried about rubbing go 245's of some sort.

I feel ya......I wish for the four tire rotation and as for filling up the fender wells....I totally agree....Ford prolly should have done 20's on the Marauder.
