Brings back memories, but mine was never that clean. We use a 50/50 mix of sand/salt out here. Until the spring rains come the roads look like dirt as do the cars.

i had an 87 turbo T, with a stage II on center block, stage II alluminum heads, and a custom duttwieller cam ground to 680" of lift ,and a single turbo, car made 1072 rwhp, i parted it out and sold most of the top end to "first snow" over on the grand national boards.

must have been real quick ,sounds like a hand full.
I find that the further modified you go on the nationals the less ya get back, but there is always a market for your go.go goodies which usually get scooped up quick.
these are getting harder to find in good shape.

The door edge protector is OEM, the original owner installed it. It is cut/bent to fit and is not the rubber glued on stuff.

I look at the garage too when I'm out there and think.....OMG, I could have bought 2 Aluminators for the cost of "modding" that room.

That is what happens when the wifey says "oh, just do whatever you want, it's your garage", she is not saying that now, 9k past the original budget. And ....... still no A/C.

Here she, currently sharing the shop floor with my chemical application rig. Don't worry, I keep the tank empty when it's in storage in case of leaks.

I was really hoping she would be parked somewhere in Provo, Utah by this time, but the company that "hired" me changed HR managers and conveniently forgot what they'd promised me back in December.
