Ok I've got the FINAL TWO CANDIDATES for my front rotors.
I went el cheapo on the rear rotors , The Raybestos basic model with "E" coating (keeps the rust off for a month) :P
So, I have a good bit of my 300.OO budget remaining for the fronts.
Only a couple places on line have the new R-300's , One is Rock Auto and they come in at just under two bills, 82.oo ea, & 20.00 shipping.
The DBA 4000's I can get for a few scheckles more , putting me only 25.00 over budget for the whole works.
Spend a few extra for the DBA's or stay with the local contender?
At least if I get the R-300's and they bomb , I can drive a few miles to where they make them and bioch.

I was looking at some EBC rotors and pads for the truck. AutoAnything and Tirerack have a customer review section and most people seemed to like them. Do any of the sites you are looking at have a review section? I figure if everyone hates a product not everyone of them can be a total idiot so I move on. JM2cents:)

The DBA's had good reviews, but who's going to say they don't like them rite away after paying a small fortune for them .:P
The fancy gold colored 4000's are almost four bills per axle.

Went with the R-300's despite no local distribution.
The decision was based soley on reputation and price .
I made three contacts to Raybestos ie; McHenry Brake Parts Inc. locally, via phone and e-mail none of which were returned.

Got a confirmation that the parts should be here tomorrow.
Much quicker shipping when you pay for it.
The free shipping I recieved on the two Amazon (for the rear rotors & pads) order(s) was 5-8 business days wait time.

We'll see, if I really like the fronts, I may spring for the matching rears.

Good luck with it Brad!
