Buckwheat has steigies snake bite package on his Trilogy. Bobbys lives in my neck of the woods known him a long time no one better at porting Eatons. When he did Buckwheats I think they had to go to larger pulley cause it was making to high boost after port gob. If you can get youre hands on one for Eaton swap:2thumbs:

Yeah might as well go for the stage 5 Eaton why mess around...lol

I found a Stage 5 Steggy with a Port Matched Polished AccuFab Plenum setup for a single blade TB. With supporting mods they claim 535HP. So looking to make at least 550rwhp with my setup if not more.

IIRC: Rich Long had his Trilogy/Eaton "Posi-Ported" by Brian at PosiPerformance.

I think that Nate/'NateHawk' bought Rich's Marauder.

^What Brian said! Look around, you can get them for some pretty good deals used, rebuilt or even new on svtperf. You have the cubes to make more. I'd worry about beefing up the rear!

Ya with youre motor let it really breathe But I wouldnt go by someone w/ aTermi made as There is quite a bit of loss between auto & T56. Personally if I was U I would be shoping for a 2.3 TS. If you get a ported Eaton for single blade there is another chunk of money for diff TB. My orig plan was get a used Eaton & have Bobby do it up I just really dont like how with a Eaton @ high R's air flow gets turbulent. Look around on SVT there is always atleast a few on there.

Going off of a NA MM 230rwhp to an Eaton 430rwhp (jdennings002) so if I am at 350rwhp (have yet do dyno since cams, heli coil fix) should put me at 550rwhp.

You guys are really making my head hurt....Yeah I may just hold out for the Whipple but they are pricey. A used stage 5 Steggy w/Accufab Plenum and TB is going to be 1k give or take when all said and done. This is "supposed" to be the redesigned Torque Plate version to resolve the cracked welds ala NAZ. I may just pickup all the other pieces I need to complete the swap and wait until I find a deal on a Whipple 2.3. I missed out a guy had one brand new for $2700.

Less than 3k miles later it needed to be rebuilt AGAIN! :argh:

Yup, went to a 3.6 inch custom upper pulley to bring the boost down to 15# on my stock motor. Currently running 9 degrees advance to keep the stock motor alive. Be aware, after the porting you will get more s/c whine than before.

Buckwheat,

I assume the snakebite is their stage 5 with new torque plate? What pulley where you running prior and how much boost? What are you putting down rwhp? I found 2.3 whipple and a ported steg difference of 2k between blowers.

Stage 5 steggys are the ones to stay away from. The torque plates were known to crack at the welds. Stage 4 and lower have no torque plates to worry about.

You can run a stage whatever ported sc and if you have enough safe timing and plenty of fuel in your tune, you'll be plenty safe. You won't hit 500rwhp, but, a ported sc reduces charge temperatures and increases efficiency. That's free horsepower right there.

We picked up 54rwhp with no changes other than the blower being ported.

Not only does Brian deliever an incredible product but his customer service is what I feel other companies should strive to be like.
