New Hood ready yet?

I remember getting on somebodies waiting list to get an aftermarket hood, I presume with a scoop/cowl, etc.. forgot who was making it and when it will be ready?? Anyone know anything, some company had one in the works, I just forgot who?

I found the post herein finally in another old post about aftermarket hoods - remember we were all posting pictures of shaker hoods and scoops, etc... back in the summer.

I remember emailing this guy, I will ask him again what the timing is and if he has any pictures/drawings of the new hood.

"FWIW - You may want to get on Mark Ray's ( Zeus Automotive ) hood interested-parties list; talked to him at the Charlotte, NC AutoFair and he indicated that one should be available soon.

As he described the hood, it will be similar to the Saleen Mustang hood; a fiberglass, gel-coated, direct-bolt-on with cooling vents indented in the front section."

I think the guy was marauder1 here on the site. I remember him talking about the hood. He's a local but I haven't heard from him in a couple of months. His brother in law is a member of another car club I'm in. I'll see what his progress is and post later.

Mark Rae at Zeus Automotive in Charlotte www.zeusautomotive.com was working on a hood.

Mark at Zeus said the hood is coming along, he will have drawings soon for us to see.

Hope it's a cowl hood, the one posted awhile back by way of photoshop was awesome.

That is great news! I had actually emailed someone on crownvic.net that had a really cool looking hood in his signature only to find out that it was a photoshop image that he had made :) Talk about a let down!

Please keep us posted, darebren! I'd kill for a aftermarket cowl hood!
