I bought A/C blower motor and it isn't the exact fit (Advance Auto). I bought a Blower fan wheel (bird cage) and this wasn't the exact fit either (Autozone). Boy I should've gone to Amazon.com first and foremost. Seems to be the way to go. I will continue to go w/ Amazon from now on. Cheaper and the parts actually fit!!!!!

Just have to wait a few days. No quick fix when you order online.

Update, I got my money back and my faith has been renewed in the box stores.

I prefer NAPA, although they are geared to Service Shops.

Searching both vendor's catalogs for a power steering cylinder for my Galaxie. Both vendors showed them available at a decent price compared to other sources.

When I called, the response from both was "no longer available".

Why was it still listed in the on-line catalog?

I was going to say just take it back.

Got my Fan Blower motor and wheel and this is a perfect fit. I got the part from Amazon.com and it was exactly what I had hoped for, extra gaskets and connecting wires. Very happy!!!

Only issues I have had was with the kids behind the counters, not the products.

Kid: "Sir, Mercury doesn't make the Murano, Nissan does."
Me: "Yeah, that is because I said MA-RAUD-ER"

I went to advance for motor mounts for my 91 thunderbird with a 5.0. Miss that car. Anyway they gave ones for a 3.8.

If you're in the Bergen County NJ area, I find Coast Automotive in Hackensack to be pretty good.

With an old Galaxie to keep running, we're pretty much on a first name basis now.

I've always had pretty good luck with AZ and AA. In my own experience I was have excelent treat and service with Advance auto/western auto, but I never have made trades with Auto zone, the other car parts which I have goog tradeis Pep Boys.

I went to an Autozone once, when I snapped a front caliper bolt on my Crown Vic. Dopey kid behind the counter typed in Valiper Blot into the part search and then stood there and told me they didn't have a listiing for that part. Until I pointed out his horrid spelling....If I didn't need my car that night I'd have walked right out of there.

it all depends what parts i need. for example my 02 sensors at ford they wanted $76, at AZ $59, rockauto $43 shipped each.
