German Night in Louisville

Hey folks!

Time to start getting reservations pulled together for the Third Annual German Night at the Kentucky Regional Meet.

This year we're going to try a different restaurant: Ericka's.

The restaurant is only 10 minutes from the hotel, it has more room than the Gasthaus (according to Ericka should not be a problem accommodating a group of 16-18 people), and she's excited about hosting us. If you check out the menu above, you'll see that there's a nice selection of items, both German AND American, for those with partners/spouses that aren't keen on Deutsche Speise. :food:

The restaurant closes at 9:00 p.m., so Ericka would prefer we make reservations for the time slot between 6:30 and 7:00 pm.

Post up if you're interested in joining us, along with a time preference.

Excellent! Glad I found their website. I know our group was always hard to fit into the Gasthaus comfortably but they did a great job in trying to do so.

Hey, update for everyone: I called Erika this afternoon to give her the latest info and she's very excited about next Thursday's event.

She will reserve a section for us with seating for at least 30 (expandable if we get more responses) and said if we want to show up in two waves that would be great (will let the kitchen keep up better), so the way it stands right now, if there are some folks that want to head over around 6:30, she'll get them seated, and the balance can head over at 7:00 if they wish.
